In addition to providing traditional call center services for the DC metro area and online triage for possible poisonings via webPOISONCONTROL, NCPC provides poisoning prevention education, hazard detection and elimination through poisoning surveillance, professional education in state-of-the-art treatment of poisonings, and health care cost-containment.
