Description
Provides police protection, including crime prevention, handling complaints, apprehending criminals, recovering stolen property, and gathering evidence. Assigns some officers to Problem-Oriented Policing (POP) in trouble spots. Works with merchants and property owners to remove opportunities for crime. Works with neighboring partners through prevention, intervention, investigations and enforcement in all facets of criminal justice and emergency management systems.
