Eligibility

- Any household that has had an emergency loss due to a House Fire or Flooding. - Any household that contains a member that receives Food Stamp benefits. - Any household that meets the required poverty income level.

Food is distributed each month on the second Wednesday from 10:00AM to 12:00PM.

Application process

Applications are accepted during the last week of each month. Applications will not be accepted on food distribution day. You may download the application form from our web site. Once you complete the application mail it back to the DDC office. If you need help or have a question with the application, contact our office at (276) 467-2306. Once the application process is completed and approved the applicant will be issued a Food Bank Card that must be presented each month on Distribution Day before food will be allowed to be picked up. Each applicant will be asked to come for distribution at an arranged time during the distribution hours. These hours will be stated on the food card.
