Youth Delinquency Prevention - Waynesboro, Central Shenandoah Valley Office on Youth
This division is designed to deter juvenile crime and provide an alternative to detention. Services to individuals primarily referred by the staff of the 25th District Juvenile Court Services Unit, Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court, Schools, Police and Sheriff departments, and the Department of Social Services. Programs offered include: Anger Management - Shoplifting Alternative Program - First Offender Program - Life Skills - 3rd Millenium Classrooms school discipline alternatives Detention Alternative and Outreach Services: Outreach Detention - Electronic Monitoring - Curfew Checks - Surveillance Checks - After-Hours On-Call Coverage. Truancy Prevention and Discipline alternative programs through the local schools'. For more information on any programs listed, please call the Office on Youth.
