Description
Prince William Public Libraries has 12 branches throughout Prince William County and the City of Manassas, providing free access to books, e-books, e-audio, print and digital magazines, Digital Library, DVDs, and more. PWPL also offers free educational and entertaining programs for all ages. Learn more at pwcva.gov/library. The Ruth E. Lloyd Information Center (RELIC) is a special collection devoted to genealogy and local history with a focus on Virginia and Prince William County. Located at Central Library, RELIC is staffed the same hours as the rest of the library. The staff are trained to help customers locate information needed to trace their family history and to research persons, places and events associated with local history. The American Revolution and the Civil War as they relate to Virginia are of special interest. Central Library's Makerspace is an independent workspace inside the library that provides patrons with various machines, tools, and technology to explore, build, collaborate, and create. Prince William Public Libraries' Makerspaces are designed for patrons 13 years old and older. Children age 12 and younger must be directly supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
