The mission of The Botetourt County Historical Society, Inc. is:To preserve and protect the historical heritage of Botetourt County, Virginia by providing education to the public through exhibitions, publications, programs and activities and preserving photographs, family journals, records and artifacts housed in the Botetourt County Historical Society Museum and selected sites While collaborating with other historical societies and Botetourt County citizens.
