Home Ownership - Lynchburg, Greater Lynchburg Habitat For Humanity
The GLHFH homeownership program supports low income families in attaining affordable permanent housing. The program partners with the family and volunteers to build a simple, decent home. Families are expected to complete 200-300 hours of sweat equity (volunteer labor) toward the building of Habitat homes. Families must participate in an educational program. The home is sold to the family with a no interest mortgage.
