Application process
EnergyShare runs all year as funds are available. During the months of June-September, EnergyShare assists with electric bills for cooling. During the months of October-May, EnergyShare assists with heating utility bills (electric, gas, oil).

Description
EnergyShare is Dominion Energy's year-round energy assistance program of last resort. Anyone facing a crisis (ex: unemployment, family crisis, chronic medical condition) and in danger of losing their primary heating/cooling or needing to restore service may be eligible for assistance. EnergyShare is not income based; however, those under age 60 must have a disconnect notice (those age 60 or older do not need a disconnect notice). Please contact your local agency for screening requirements and to schedule an appointment.
