Head Start/Early Head Start - Newport News, Hampton Roads Community Action Program
HRCAP Head Start is a federally funded early childhood pre-school program for over 1,200 three and four-year-old children of low income families living in Chesapeake, Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk and Portsmouth, Virginia. Comprehensive services for children and families are: Health, Education, Nutrition, Family Services, Mental Health/Disabilities, Community Family Partnerships, Parent Involvement, and Transportation for children residing in designated boundaries. The program provides service to disabled children and some spaces may be reserved for over income families.
