FAMIS - Christiansburg, Montgomery County Social Services

Virginia's program that helps families provide health insurance to their children. FAMIS stands for Family Access to Medical Insurance Security. Programs include: FAMIS the children's health insurance program for children and adolescents under the age of nineteen * FAMIS MOMS for pregnant women; and * FAMIS Select the insurance premium assistance program. Dental services for children enrolled in FAMIS or FAMIS Plus are provided through the Smiles For Children program. Encourages good dental health and recommends regular check-ups with your child's dentist.
