The Henry County Parks & Recreation Dept Senior Section is to fulfill all contractual requirements as a subcontractor of the Southern Area Agency on Aging by providing needed services to residents of Henry County who are sixty years of age and older, frail, and in the greatest economic and social need.

Henry County Parks and Recreation
Provide a variety of recreation services for the citizens of Henry County, including 29 park facilities that are maintained by our department and are available for the public to enjoy. Also offer many different recreation programs for children, adults, families and seniors. Henry County Parks and Recreation is a member of the Virginia Recreation and Parks Society (VRPS) and the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA).
