Description

Offers a tuition-free demonstration elementary school serving deaf/hard of hearing children from birth to age 15. Focuses on teaching and learning in teams, where study of main content areas (language arts, math, science, and social studies) is integrated. Allows teachers and students to make connections across disciplines and to relate study to real life situations without the artificial boundaries created by separate class periods, teachers and schedule constraints.
