Parenting Education - Winchester, Healthy Families Northern Shenandoah Valley
Provides intensive in-home family support services for at-risk first-time parents, beginning prenatal and continuing until the child is five years of age. Families participate voluntarily in the program and receive home visiting and referrals from trained staff. The program has three goals: to promote positive parenting, to encourage child health and development, and to prevent child abuse and neglect.
