Description

Provides nutrition education and food vouchers for pregnant women, new mothers, infants and children younger than age 5 who cannot afford an adequate diet and have a nutritional risk.

Provides a broad range of public health services to the residents of Charlottesville and Albemarle County in order to achieve optimal well-being through prevention, education, direct patient care, environmental services and community involvement. Offer car seats/booster seats for Medicaid-eligible infants and children. Services are available on an ability to pay basis and target low-income and indigent residents of the community.
