Provides support and assistance to individual and families experiencing intimate partner violence including 24 hour hotline shelter, support groups, crisis intervention, and legal advocacy. Many survivors find going through the legal process to be a frightening and overwhelming experience. First Step's Advocates can go with clients to offer moral support and help to create a safe space around them as they go through the process from getting a Protective Order through the entire court process.
