Home Ownership - Danville, Habitat For Humanity, Danville Pittsylvania County

Home ownership program supports low income families in attaining affordable permanent housing. The program partners with the family and volunteers to build a simple, decent home. Families are expected to complete 200-500 hours (requirement based on family size) of sweat equity (volunteer labor) toward the building of Habitat homes. Families must participate in an educational program. The home is sold to the family at a minimal cost with a no interest mortgage.
