Provides a long-term and rehabilitative care facility affiliated with Fauquier Hospital. Poplar Hill Health & Rehabilitation Center, offers the community a unique continuity of care. The same physicians and therapists who serve at the Fauquier hospital also serve patients at the Poplar Hill Health & Rehabilitation Center. Many patients recovering from surgical procedures such as total hip or knee joint replacement, or conditions such as a stroke, are placed at Poplar Hill Health and Rehab after hospitalization for several weeks of rehabilitation before going home. A pool is on site for aqua therapy. Also offers chemotherapy and oncology services, hospice care and modern services for the medically complex patient. Also offers Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) services which include physical, occupational, and speech and language therapy for all ages. The primary goal is to return patients to an active, healthy lifestyle.
