Description
Clinch Valley Community Action participates in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program (VITA), which is sponsored by the Internal Revenue Service. All volunteers are IRS certified. If you live in Tazewell County or any of the surrounding communities, you may qualify for this free service. We will electronically file your Federal and state tax returns for you. We offer preparation for other states, as well.

Clinch Valley Community Action, Inc.
A private non-profit corporation established in 1965. The primary service area is Tazewell County with limited services provided in Bland County, Buchanan County, Russell County, Smyth County and Wythe County. Locally managed and governed by a Board of Directors for the purpose of eliminating poverty and promoting self-sufficiency. One third of the Board of Directors are local elected officials or their designees, one third are representatives of local businesses or civic organizations, and one third are representatives of low-income communities.
