Description
The Voter Registrar provides all voter registration transaction services for the county and also maintains electronic and manual files on all county voters. The registrar certifies candidates and issues to be placed on the ballot for election day. When the election is over, the registrar is in charge of certifying the election results to the State Board of Elections in Richmond, Virginia. The registrar also conducts absentee voting.
