Eligibility

Anyone with a disability -physical, emotional, mental or learning. Eligibility for riding program is determined by entire medical history; if the motion of a horse can do a participant harm, driving instruction can often be offered as a safe alternative with similar benefits.

Description

Provides therapeutic horseback riding, driving, At-Risk programs and related equine activities for individuals (children and adults) with mental, physical, emotional and learning disabilities (regardless of race, creed, color, sex, national origin, religion, or age), from Southampton, Isle of Wight, and Sussex Counties, the Cities of Franklin and Suffolk, as well as the surrounding areas of Southeastern Virginia and Northeastern North Carolina.
