Description
The International Rescue Committee in Charlottesville resettles approximately 250 refugees each year. Services include case management, employment, health services, ESL and other educational programs among others. IRC offers low cost immigration services to the general community including applications for legal permanent residence (green cards) and U.S. citizenship. IRC also offers interpretation services to many private and public organizations and agencies through the area with more than 50 trained community interpreters speaking 15 different languages.
