Emergency Shelter - Winchester, WATTS, Winchester Area Temporary Thermal Shelter

Provides the WATTS program, (Winchester Area Temporary Thermal Shelter) which offers emergency shelter to families and individuals in the City of Winchester and County of Frederick. The program is comprised of various churches who network to provide weekly stays (Monday PM to Monday AM) for those needing emergency shelter during the winter months starting the first week in November through March. The following services are available: cots, shower facilities, laundromat tokens, nursing check-ups and two hot meals (dinner and breakfast). Check website for current schedule.

Overnight shelter The daytime Warming Center will open on December 8, 2024 and will run through Friday, March 28, 2025. 7am-1pm M-Sa; Sunday 1pm-5pm; Montague Ave UMC, 102 Montague Ave, Winchester, VA
