Offers new toys/clothing through Angel Tree program at Christmas. Bring picture ID for adults, proof of income, verification of address along with birth certificate and/or refugee cards for all children in the home. Must know clothing sizes, bring an interpreter if needed, and provide information about monthly expenses. 30-45 minutes additional time will required to receive appointment information for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Application process

Please bring the following items with you to registration Picture ID (Virginia Residents only) Birth Certificates for all children 12 years and younger Proof of Household Income (income should be current within the last 30 days) Proof of Residency (Current Lease or rent receipts) Proof of Household expenses/bills (most current bills including rent, utilities, child support, etc.) If you are not the lease holder, you must have a notarized letter stating that you and your children live there and pay $X amount for rent. You also must have other mailed documents (proof of income, pay stub, W2, etc.) at that address. If you are residing at a shelter you must have a letter from the shelter stating the percentage you pay into escrow or any other fees you are responsible for.

Salvation Army Fairfax Corps, The

The Salvation Army Fairfax Corps/Community Center is the focal point for activities and programs tailored to the needs of the Fairfax community. The Corps has worship opportunities as well as music, character building programs, educational and social activities for adults and youth. In addition, we provide basic emergency services and referrals for those in need through our social services office. Also provides Emergency/Disaster services within Fairfax County. These services are onsite feeding, emotional/spiritual care and long-term casework.
