Sewage Regulation: Conducts soil studies and site evaluations on property to determine suitability for a onsite wastewater disposal. Migrant Labor Camps: Inspects migrant labor camps. Water: Permits all private drinking water wells. Rabies Prevention: Rabies testing of certain animals involved in human or other animal exposures; evaluation of human exposures and in consultation with physician, recommendations for management and post exposure treatment are made to treating provider. Outbreak Investigations: When food or water borne, identification and testing of the potential sources in food and water are conducted.
