Doors open at the House of Hope between the hours of 5:00-7:00pm each day. Guests must check in each evening during that time period.

Application process

Self-Referral; Call for information and/or to reserve a bed. Operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Bed space availability is not guaranteed.

A faith-based, temporary homeless shelter serving Danville, Virginia and Pittsylvania County. For over 10 years, the House of Hope has provided a safe refuge for those who don't have a place to stay and who are in need of transitional assistance. We are conveniently located in downtown Danville.
