Description
Provides immunizations for communicable diseases and for foreign travel requirements. Also offers flu and pneumonia shots. Tests for sexually transmitted diseases such as HIV/AIDS and for communicable diseases such as TB.

The health department works to prevent disease by promoting healthy lifestyle choices that can combat chronic disease, educating the public about threats to their health, and preventing and controlling communicable disease outbreaks. In addition, our Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program works to improve the health of pregnant women, infants and children through better nutrition.
