Provides programs for senior citizens. Provides nutritious meals to seniors, transportation is provided. Seniors enjoy fellowship, informational health programs, crafts and recreation. Shopping outings and other social activities may be arranged. Health care screenings are offered occasionally including: blood pressure screening and diabetes checks. Programs offered may be in collaboration with the District III Governmental Cooperative, the Mount Rogers Health District and other area agencies.

Offers a noon meal at 15 locations throughout Fairfax County. Additional sites includes a Memory Care site and a seasonal Korean site. Also offers Adult Day Healthcare congregate meals at four sites. Call for the nearest locations.
Provides hot noon time meals to the anyone in need. No qualifications and no questions asked. Serves individuals and families. Works with volunteers. Accepts monetary and food donations. Diverse dietary preferences cannot be accommodated with donated food. We do not add salt to dishes prepared in the kitchen, because some canned or packaged items already contain salt and salt is available on the tables. Fresh fruit is usually available. After eating, lunchroom guests may take with them bakery goods and other groceries, depending on available supplies.

The HOPE Center provides a daily lunch meal for the hungry in the Petersburg area.
Provides afternoon meals and snacks for under-privileged school-aged children in a safe learning environment. Also offers nutrition education and enrichment activities such as tutoring and mentoring.
Provides a center for senior citizens for recreation, conversation and a hot noon meal. Offers focal points linking older adults (55 years and older) and their families with a wide array of community services essential for maintaining health, independence and well being. Programs are offered in health, nutrition, educational and recreational, physical fitness and volunteerism.

The Aging and Disability Services Division has an array of programs that can help seniors address nutrition needs.
Offers recreational opportunities for adults (age 55 and older) to join together in fellowship and activities that enhance their quality of life, respond to their needs and interests, support their independence and encourage their involvement in and with the center and the community. Offers health and wellness programs, blood pressure screening, nutritional education programs, bloodmobiles, arts and humanities programs, retired and senior volunteer program, AARP Covington-Alleghany County Chapter #1702, AARP income tax assistance, LOA - Area Agency on Aging Diner's Club program (Tuesday and Thursday), Meals-on-Wheels program, line dancing, dances, appreciation socials, Older Americans Month Open House, advance crafts for men and women, Covington Senior Center Newsletter and Calendar of Events, covered dish luncheons, duplicate bridge club, transportation, shopping and much more.

Carryout meals are distributed every Monday and Thursday at 11:15 at English Park. Cars line up in 2 lanes.
Persons 60 years and older receive an educational program along with a nutritional hot meal at a meal site as part of STEP Inc. meal program.
Provides a nutritionally balanced meal where eligible clients can meet in an atmosphere that provides socialization, education and recreation.
Provides a food pantry and lunch for the needy on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month. Lunch is served at 1PM to 2PM and the food is distributed after the meal.
This program provides senior centers and other designated location nutritionally balanced meal and also allow older persons to participate in recreation, education, exercise, and other socialization activities. Persons 60 years and older are served, depending on health, age and capability.
Provides a food pantry giving boxes of food to needy families and individuals. Will help as much as a family of five with a three day supply of food. Visits are restricted to once a month. Food Pantries
Provides emergency shelter, food, clothing and spiritual guidance for the homeless. Also, it provides food, clothing and other necessities to needy persons in the community. The Mission provides 3 meals daily every day of the year. It also provides community outreach to non-residents of the shelter and offers services to disaster victims. It provides daily shelter for transients and temporary long-term shelter for residents. Also provides help with utilities and assistance with holiday food for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
