It provides daily shelter for transients and temporary long-term shelter for residents. Also provides help with utilities and assistance with holiday food for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Provides a free lunch, 11:30AM - 12:00PM served at the Second Presbyterian Church every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday for area residents. This is an ecumenical effort supported by many other area churches. Also serves a brunch on Saturdays, from 10:30AM-11:30AM at Christ Tabernacle Church of God (489 North Winchester Ave). Second Presbyterian Church also has an Emergency Food Pantry for Clients referred by Salvation Army or Social Services. Contact Church by phone to arrange pick up.
