Responsible for assisting area residents in acquiring safe, sanitary and affordable housing units in the city of Covington. Offers Housing Choice Voucher Program (58 Vouchers). Assists very low income families, the elderly and people with disabilities with subsidized rent. Provides grant management services to localities awarded a Community Development Block Grant.

Operates a rental assistance program for low-income Alexandria families under the Section 8 housing program.
Provides low cost housing to low income individuals and families. Consists of 28 - 1 bedroom; 62 - 2 bedroom; 28 - 3 bedroom; and 8 - 4 bedroom units. Owned by the Methodists, and under the direction of HUD's VHDA, all Section 8 applications are to be made directly at the Parkway Village Apartment's business office.
