Petersburg Area Transit (PAT) offers para-transit service for Senior Citizens and Persons with Disabilities (permanent or temporary), service area includes the entire City of Petersburg and City of Hopewell. Paratransit services portions of Colonial Heights, portions of Dinwiddie County and Portions of Prince George County. The para-transit service operates wheelchair equipped vans providing door to door service for qualified senior citizens and persons with disabilities.

Provides older adults with free, door-to-door transportation to medical-related appointments in local geographic area. Transportation also provided for errands (non-medical related).

Transportation for medical appointments. Transportation is also provided for senior citizens who participate in our senior sites and other community activities. Door to door service is provided.

Augusta Health Transportation Services currently serves individuals in the Staunton, Waynesboro and Augusta County areas. The ambulance service transports patients between Augusta Health and other destinations, as well as transports between surrounding medical facilities including, but not limited to: Bath County Community Hospital Medical College of Virginia University of Virginia Medical Center Roanoke Area Hospitals Rockingham Memorial Hospital Western State Hospital Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center

Provides wheelchair van services for physically challenged clients who require transportation to medical appointments, dialysis treatments, and other outpatient medical care. Also provides ambulatory services for bedridden patients to and from hospitals, nursing care facilities, doctor's offices, dialysis, radiation, physical therapy treatments and other outpatient services

Mobility management is collaboration between Encompass Community Supports and the RTC Mobility Center to assist individuals in finding suitable transportation. Our Mobility Specialists staff the One-Call center located at the Culpeper Senior Center where individuals can get more information on transportation types, find out where trolleys and busses drop off and pick up, get assistance scheduling trips and our specialists will even ride with them to help riders become more comfortable with public transportation. There is no fee for the service. The telephone number is 540-829-5300. The volunteer transportation program is also available to individuals 60 or older or people with a disability. Volunteers transport them to healthcare or legal appointments. Donations are accepted and encouraged. ACCESSIBILITY: Fully accessible to persons with disabilities.

Provides public transit for Washington county. This service includes shopping routes, transportation to congregate nutrition sites operated by District Three Senior Services, and town transit in Marion and Wytheville.

Provides transportation for the Town of Front Royal. The Front Royal Area Transit (FRAT) provides transportation within the Town of Front Royal. FRAT runs on a fixed route that begins and ends at the Front Royal/Warren County Visitor's Center. The schedule repeats every hour. The first run starts at 8:30AM and the last run starts at 4PM. ACCESSIBILITY: The FRAT Bus is ADA accessible and equipped with the latest wheelchair lifts and security systems. Persons with disabilities who are ADA certified may be picked up and dropped off curbside anywhere within 3/4 mile of our regular route. Please call in advance.

TheDOT program serves the mobility-impaired residents of Alexandria who are unable to use public transportation. It is a shared ride service, most rides are provided via van or small bus. There is no age limit.

Volunteers provide transportation to medical appointments and to grocery stores to those over 60 in the community who, for whatever reason, are unable to drive themselves.

Provides transportation for the Town of Culpeper and Culpeper County. The Culpeper Connector provides transportation within the Town of Culpeper. The Culpeper Express offers curb-to-curb Demand-Response service within Culpeper County to complement the Culpeper Connector fixed route. Rides are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Fixed route services are available to the general public. Offers deviated fixed route bus transportation on a set route to anyone in Henry County and Martinsville City, Virginia. Customers must wait at the bus stop for pick up. Accessible transportation for people with functional disabilities is available upon request with a completed and approved Americans with Disabilities Act Paratransit Eligibility application prior to transport. Will deviate from the route up to .75 mile off of the fixed route. ADA requests must be booked at least 24 business hours in advance by calling Intake.

I-Ride Courtland coordinates public transportation for area residents.

Fixed route services are available to the general public. Offers deviated fixed route bus transportation on a set route to anyone in Buena Vista City, Lexington City, or Rockbridge County, Virginia. Customers must wait at the bus stop for pick up. Accessible transportation for people with functional disabilities is available upon request with a completed and approved Americans with Disabilities Act Paratransit Eligibility application prior to transport. Will deviate from the route up to .75 mile off of the fixed route. Washington & Lee University and Virginia Military Institute students ride free with a student ID.

Danville Senior Transportation is offered to Danville residents, age (60+) curb-to-curb, and often door-to-door service, for those who are in need of transportation. Participants can schedule trips to the center programs, medical appointments, mealsite, shopping, etc. Call (434) 797-8994 between the hours of 9 a.m.-2 p.m. (Monday-Thursday) to see if you are eligible and to schedule a pick up. Donation to assist with costs are accepted.

JCIL maintains a fleet of vehicles, most of which are ADA accessible, to provide transportation to appointments in situations where no other transportation is available. JCIL also provides limited Medicaid transportation as well as group transportation to JCIL community events. Transportation is provided on a pre-scheduled basis only.
