A day program to help teens aged 14 to 17 who are on probation stay out of trouble and gain life skills.
Operates the following programs: Youth Haven Assessment and Brief Intervention Center, Outreach Detention and Electronic Monitoring, Runaway and Homeless Youth Program and Parent Education. Youth Haven Assessment and Brief Intervention Center Male and female clients ages 12 through 17 can receive individualized nonresidential services based on a screening for strengths and areas for improvement. Brief interventions include, but are not limited to: screenings, individual and family counseling, surveillance, anger management, and life skills services. A weekly support and educational group is available to the parents of adolescents. A Teen Parent Education group is offered in partnership with Children's Trust to provide basic parenting skills and support to adolescent parents and pregnant teenagers. Outreach Detention/Electronic Monitoring Male and female clients who have been court ordered pre-dispositionally will receive intensive supervision including, but not limited to: daily supervision, counseling, crisis intervention, electronic monitoring supervision and family involvement. Criminal Justice Services Local Offenders Probation program (also referred to as the Community Corrections Program) provides short-term supervision and services primarily for misdemeanor offenders. Post-adjudication, these offenders are court-ordered into the Local Offenders Program. The offenders are given a deferred or suspended sentence pending successful participation.

The ANCHOR Commission is a governmental entity which oversees a Group Home / Shelter Care facility for male teenagers who are court involved and referred - 12 to 17 years of age. Other services provided for all youth are: Outreach Detention and GPS Monitoring, Seven Challenges and Brief Challenges substance use programs, Aggression Replacement Training (A.R.T.), Co-Parenting: Two Parents, Two Homes (custody) class, Transitional Day Program (TDP) and Lee Ford Camp Recreational Facility.

The Alternative Community Service (ACS) program is a fee-based placement program for individuals required by the courts or other agencies to perform community service. Community Service Clients are referred to Volunteer Alexandria through courts, probation officers, lawyers, or city agencies and after completing the intake process, are placed with a nonprofit or civic organization to complete their hours. Volunteer Alexandria handles all of the required paperwork, including a completion letter that is sent when hours are finished.

Provides intake and counseling services to juveniles and their families who are before the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court. Prepares social investigations for the Juvenile Court. The coordinating agency for all court-related alternative community service (ACS) work in the Prince William County (PWC) area, for both adult and juvenile cases. Routinely process referrals from the 31st General District Court and PWC probation offices, fees paid by the county. Cases from other courts, jurisdictions or probation offices, as well as self-referrals opting to perform ACS prior to conviction, are subject to a fee of $100 (exact change or money-order only, no checks or credit cards) payable at intake.
