Northern Virginia Mediation Service (NVMS) helps business, local and federal government clients improve workplace communication, relationships, teamwork and productivity. Experienced professionals start with an assessment and tailor services to meet clients' needs in addressing challenges such as manager-employee disputes, organizational change and EEO complaints. Services available include facilitation, coaching, training, team activities and mediation.
Provides educational programs and support services to strengthen family relationships and alleviate stresses on family life. Workshops include couples communication, problem solving and conflict resolution, dynamics of child and spouse abuse, and managing child behavior. Offers a family life library, respite child care, and prenatal support. New parent support and play group that meets once a week.

NVMS delivers Restorative Justice (RJ) services for youth and adults in collaboration with local public school systems, juvenile courts, police and neighborhoods. RJ involves a facilitated process that focuses on restoring accountability and repairing harm following a harmful incident such as a discipline issue in school, a neighborhood conflict or a misdemeanor crime. Participation is voluntary and community oriented with a focus on the needs of those affected by harm, or victims, in addition to accountability for those who committed harm, or offenders.
Provides mediation services for all types of conflicts including community conflicts between neighbors, parents and teens, schools and parents, landlords and tenants, and within families. Mediators assist clients in reaching mutually acceptable agreements through their own decisions. Sessions are scheduled according to client needs and availability, including after-hours and weekends, and have various locations throughout Northern Virginia. Mediation is voluntary and confidential and may be used concurrently with other assistance (legal, mental health, etc.)
OPN-Door Communications LLC was created to meet the communication needs of families, private businesses and the public sector. Providing keynote speaking, training, facilitation, investigative, conflict and dispute resolution services. Services include: mediation; parent education workshop; rights restoration workshops.
