Houses the Afro-Lee Collection, named after Virginia Lee, a former librarian of the Gainsboro Branch, of rare books and ready-reference resources on African-American history and culture. The Lifetime Learning Institute of Northern Virginia offers educational and cultural pursuits to adults age 50 and over. Laurel Ridge Community College Adult Education serves the region with FREE classes that help students improve academic, English language (ESL), and workplace skills. Classes are held at local schools, churches, and libraries throughout the region.

Assures that all individuals in Clarke, Fauquier, Frederick, Page, Rappahannock, Shenandoah, Warren Counties and the city of Winchester are given a continuing education opportunity for the development and extension of their skills and knowledge through quality programs and services that are financially and geographically accessible. Occupational-technical, transfer education, developmental studies, continuing education, and community services are the primary avenues through which the mission is fulfilled.
