CVACL offers short-term and/or immediate emergency services for older adults through two programs: Emergency Assistance and Emergency Services Response. The Emergency Assistance Program involves an assessment of individuals' needs and provides specific information and referrals to in-agency and/or community services to help address them. The Emergency Services Response Program also evaluates the needs individuals are facing and provides essential food, medical, personal hygiene, and household items for those who are without access to or resources for them. All fulfilled requests are delivered to recipients' homes.

A free service of Warren Memorial Hospital, the community sharps disposal safely disposes of used medical sharps such as needles, syringes and lancets, reducing risk to families and waste management and landfill staff. The hospital distributes new sharps containers to local residents at no cost. The containers are made of rigid, puncture-resistant plastic, with a lid that can be sealed when the container is full. They are labeled to remind participants to return the full container to the hospital for disposal and not to put it in their regular household trash. Participants may bring their full containers to designated drop-off containers in the Emergency Department waiting area or in the hallway near the Laboratory on the first floor.
Provides persons with disabilities durable medical equipment at no cost. Very often there is no insurance or insurance will not pay for bedside commodes, bath seats or certain types of wheelchairs, walkers, ramps, etc. Accepts donated used medical equipment which is cleaned and repaired for use. Medical equipment can be donated or exchanged to those in need in the community.

The ALS Association seeks to discover the cause and cure for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (Lou Gehrig's Disease) through dedicated research while providing patient support, information/education for health care professionals and the general public, and advocacy for ALS research and health concerns. Provide other services such as respite grants, assistive technology, medical equipment, and transportation (must be wheelchair bound with no other transportation).

Offers services to normalize patient's appearance in order to improve the quality of life while undergoing treatment and recovery from cancer and other illnesses. They carry supplies for lymphedema, bras and prostheses, swim form, swim wear and lingerie for post mastectomy clients, hair replacements, hats, turbans, other head wear and skin care, nail and oral products approved for cancer patients. Therapeutic manicures and pedicures, facials, massage therapy and hair care services are also offered.
The Assistive Technology Program assists individuals with disabilities seeking access to assistive technology devices and services, with emphasis on obtaining funding from vocational rehabilitation and special education providers, and Medicaid or Medicare. Assistive technology is any device, adaptive equipment, or service which enables people with disabilities to accomplish a task that would otherwise not be possible. dLCV can help people learn about the great potential of assistive technology and help them find funding assistance. dLCV provides advocacy and legal representation services to persons who have been denied funding for assistive technology services or devices.
