Roanoke City and Alleghany Health Districts (RCAHD) Family Planning program gives clients the opportunity to determine the number and spacing of their children by providing information, counseling and medical services. A broad range of effective medical and educational services are available including: - Access to many types of birth control methods - Yearly sexual health exams - Counseling - Education about family planning and infertility - Pregnancy Testing
Provides health care for expectant mothers and their babies in order to give children the best possible start in life. Nurses work with expectant mothers of all ages; mothers expecting their first babies, and mothers expecting their fourth; mothers who are in their first trimester of pregnancy, and those who will delivery in a matter of weeks. Ensures that all pregnant women enrolled in the program are covered with health insurance through either Pregnant Medicaid or FAMIS Moms. Offers transportation to doctor appointments, nutrition education, infant care education, breastfeeding support with a lactation consultant, and referrals to area childbirth education classes.

Offers free pro-life options counseling for parents experiencing unplanned pregnancy, assistance with scheduling prenatal appointments, provision of transportation to medical appointments, provision of on-going counseling services.
Provides clinics to assist women in planning their families. Confidential birth control services and counseling are available. Special emphasis is focused to teens (teen clinic). Multiple languages availble via phone interperter line.
Birth control methods are provided as part of yearly exam. Visit also includes Pat test, breast exam, screening for STDs, health education and conseling.
A service to help men and women plan their families. This enables them to plan pregnancies when they are ready and prevent unplanned pregnancies. An annual gynecological examination that may includes a breast exam; pap test; screening for Sexually Transmitted Illnesses (STIs); preconception and nutrition information; and health education and counseling all based on individual health needs. Birth control methods are provided as part of the yearly exam. Teens and women of child-bearing age, as well as males are encouraged to come for FP services.
Pregnancy testing, counseling and referral is available. There is a fee for pregnancy testing.

The Center is non-profit and all services are free, respectful, and confidential. Provides free pregnancy tests, counseling on all pregnancy options including abortion, parenting, & adoption; birth control and emergency contraception information appointments, post-abortion counseling, baby and maternity clothing, baby items, and practical support to women and men in unexpected pregnancies, regardless of background, beliefs or situation. Counseling, educational and medical services are offered. Maternity clothing is available at the Charlottesville Pregnancy Center and baby items can be easily earned through Building Blocks program.

Arlington County's Teen Health Clinics offer non-confidential and confidential services to all teens aged 13-19 regardless of where you live, your gender, or sexual orientation. Services that are CONFIDENTIAL and do NOT need parent/guardian consent: Pregnancy testing and prevention Birth control (birth control pills, Depo Provera shot, Nuvaring, condoms, Nexplanon implant, IUDs) Plan B (emergency contraception) Diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted infections (Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, HIV, syphilis, and herpes) Sexual health education Resource information on primary care, mental health and substance use services. Provides pregnancy testing, contraception education and methods to women and men who desire to postpone/prevent pregnancy through the use of a birth control method, and preconception counseling for people seeking a healthy pregnancy. Emphasis is on health education, sexually transmitted disease screening, prevention, and treatment, effective birth control method use and prevention of coercive behavior. Confidential teen services are provided.
