WDS prepares the emerging workforce by providing students with greater access to career options; serves employers through flexible and customized training; and, offers portable skills and credentials to the the incumbent and displaced workforce.

Britepaths' Workforce Development Program helps job seekers navigate the job search process and find meaningful employment. The program is designed to work with under- or un-employed men and women in an individualized and coordinated way to ensure that all of their workforce development needs are met. The types of workforce development support and assistance available to clients include: Job and career identification and planning. Referrals to educational, job training, or professional certification programs, if needed. Resume review. Workshops focused on career development and job search strategies. Professional and social networking guidance and invitation to events. Financial literacy and budgeting workshops or coaching, if needed. Participation in Network Up, a short-term mentoring program that pairs job seekers with a professional in their desired job sector.
Culpeper Career Resource Center (CCRC) in the town of Culpeper County, Virginia is a community resource serving workers looking for employment and employees seeking employees throughout the five county area: Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange and Rappahannock counties. Sam's place, a community outreach center, is a one stop hub where individuals and families can access information and referrals to other community partners. Assistance is offered with a variety of needs including, but not limited to health, transportation, food, home repairs, and an avenue to apply for financial aid for housing. Also offered are vision and hearing aids, clothing and furniture vouches. Referrals are made based upon personal needs, available funds, and program criteria

The goals of the program are to strengthen areas of academic weakness, promote excellence in areas where students have demonstrated academic strength, and assist students in preparing for and passing the Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL) exams. The STEM Center will also build on job training opportunities available to adults by providing hands-on instruction in machining, welding, and computer networking/repair. The training and instruction offered in the STEM Center will pave the way for more advanced skills development programs at institutions of higher learning and facilitate access to paid internships and/or entry-level positions of employment. One of the goals of the STEM Center is for Jubilee to serve as a CVCC Satellite site for those that are not able to attend or feel intimidated by attending classes on a college campus.

Community College Workforce Alliance (CCWA) empowers individuals with affordable, flexible training that opens doors to high demand jobs and meets the evolving workforce needs of Virginia’s and the region’s economies.
Maintains a statewide system of apprenticeship training including registration and certification. Program assists employers in developing training programs, providing technical assistance and customer service to existing programs and registering qualified applicants for program participation.
