Support Employment Program provides job development, job placement, individualized training, support and follow along services to individuals with disabilities which hinder their employability in competitive jobs in the community. Individuals have the option of individual job placement in the community or working in a jantorial enclave in the community if an position is available in the enclave.

Supported Employment
Specializes in group and individual vocational evaluation, training and support to work at businesses in the local community. ECHO specializes in providing community-based group supported employment (GSE) which maximizes each participant's opportunities in accordance with their interests. Individuals work in small groups with on-site support at businesses in the local community. ECHO also offers Individualized Supported Employment (ISE), to assist participants to secure employment through coaching, individualized support and training.

Provides services to help people with disabilities achieve personal independence through employment. Pre-vocational support, paid work adjustment training, supported employment services, and sheltered employment are offered. Also at this site is Supported Employment, an intensive on-the-job training and support program. Services in Lee, Wise and Scott County and the City of Norton are provided in partnership with Planning District One Behavioral Health Services.

Hermitage Enterprises provide vocational and day support services to citizens with intellectual disabilities.
Employee Development and Work Adjustment Training is comprehensive, individualized, and designed to develop or reestablish skills, attitudes, personal characteristics, work behaviors, and functional capacities in order to achieve positive employment outcomes. Services are time-limited and can be provided directly to individuals seeking employment or indirectly through employer/employee support programs. Job services are provided at the job site and can include counseling, intensive job training, and development of work habits, and behaviors appropriate for the work environment. Prior to completion of the program, a review is held utilizing input from the program individual, staff, families, advocates, funders, and other involved agency representatives to determine the potential for competitive employment, additional training, or the transition to other Goodwill programs. Employee Development and Training is offered to individuals living in the counties of Alleghany, Amherst, Appomattox, Bath, Bedford, Bland, Botetourt, Campbell, Carroll, Craig, Floyd, Franklin, Giles, Grayson, Henry, Montgomery, Patrick, Pulaski, Roanoke, Rockbridge, and Wythe, and the cities of Buena Vista, Covington, Galax, Lexington, Lynchburg, Martinsville, Radford, Roanoke, and Salem.
