Therapeutic Foster Care is a temporary arrangement in which approved caregivers open their hearts and home to provide safe, loving, and nurturing care for youth whose birth family are unable to care for them. Therapeutic foster parents receive specialized training and additional support services to care for youth who experience a variety of needs. These needs may include: emotional, behavioral, or social challenges, complex medical needs, physical or intellectual disabilities or who may have experienced multiple placements within the foster care system.

Services include VALUES therapeutic foster care for custodial and non-custodial children and youth with behavioral and/or emotional problems, or neglect; Prevention Services provides the community with basic prevention strategies to enhance protective factors, such as promoting positive mental and emotional well-being and decreasing risk factors such as peer pressure and availability of drugs. Regional Child Development Center provides Early Intervention Services for birth to age 3 with disabilities and/or developmental delay problems. Provides a network of therapeutic foster homes for children 8 to 18 years of age. This treatment foster care program is for children in the community who don't need to be in a group home, but need more attention and support than is provided by traditional foster care. Youth and families benefit from extra support and supervision. The program is able to accept emergency placements and to provide long term foster care leading to permanency. Provides specialized placement of children and adolescents with varying needs in high quality foster care homes. They also offer services to foster parents and foster children and adolescents from infants to age 21. Services include intensive customized case management; Casey Independent Living Skills training; coordination of individualized group therapy, in home therapy, mentoring and behavior aide services when needed; support groups for foster parents, children and youth; respite for foster parents needing a temporary break; and 24 hour crisis intervention and emergency services.
