NAMI Connections is a recovery support group for adults living with a mental health condition. NAMI Northern Virginia offers two groups currently meeting virtually in Northern Virginia. Region Ten provides a variety of mental health services to meet the needs of our community. Services are provided for all age groups and are provided on an individual, group, or family basis. Services are also available at numerous locations across our catchment area to those experiencing mental health challenges and who may also have issues with substance use. Mental Health Services are strength-based, recovery-oriented services designed to evaluate and treat the mental health challenges that individuals may experience during their lifetime.

A day support program, which enhances independent living skills and maximizes opportunities for community integration. Activities include life skills groups, support groups, recreation and socialization opportunities. The supported employment program provides employment services designed to teach the basic work habits necessary to be successful in obtaining and maintaining employment.

Provide face to face or telephone response to individuals and families experiencing crisis, or to an involved party who is concerned about the person in crisis. Emergency Services team is comprised of state certified, licensed and experienced clinicians who are available on the Eastern Shore 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Provides full range of behavioral health services including Inpatient Mental Health Unit, Partial Hospitalization Program, Outpatient Appointments for Individual, Family and Group Therapy. The goal is to help clients identify goals, think through solutions and make life changes. This ministry provides encouragement and support to spouses of military men. This group meets on the fourth Thursday of each month in the Fellowship Hall. A quality pre-school and home-school program is provided.

Provides mental health counseling to residents of Waynesboro, Staunton and Augusta. A sliding scale fee is available for all clients, based on the client's family income and number of dependents. Most health insurances are also accepted. Individual, couples, marital, and family counseling is provided for a wide variety of presenting issues: anxiety, depression, relationship issues, domestic violence, social and emotional difficulties, sexual abuse and recovery, career change and job stress, grief and loss, child and adolescent concerns, LGBQT+ issues, coping with life transitions, anger management, family and parenting concerns, and more.

Consumer-run peer support facility is provided for people with a history of mental illness or a current mental health diagnosis in support of their recovery efforts. Services include peer support, advocacy, education, socialization and recreational opportunities.

Valley Health Senior Structured Outpatient Program is medically supervised and tailored to meet the needs of older adults requiring behavioral health treatment and extra support is required. Most therapy sessions will be in group format,although individual and family therapy can be provided if clinically indicated. These groups are facilitated by a licensed clinical social worker or licensed professional counselor and under the supervision of a board certified psychiatrist. Additionally,the patient's care is coordinated with the individual's Primary Care Physician. Medicare and Private Insurance accepted.
