The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington help boys and girls of all backgrounds build confidence, develop character and acquire the skills needed to become productive, civic-minded, responsible adults.
This program is provided to help youth of all backgrounds to develop qualities needed to become responsible citizens and leaders.
Provides an after-school program during the school year and a summer program for youth ages 6 to 18. Offers youth development programs in the following areas: Character and Leadership Development, Education and Career Development, Health and Life Skills, The Arts, Sports, Fitness and Recreation. The Mission of the Boys & Girls Club is "To inspire and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens."
The Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Richmond strive to be an effective influence, ensuring youth are life-ready for college, technical training, military or gainful employment. The program offerings and learning opportunities are increasingly individualized and youth-led, enabling members to cultivate their own voices for leadership and change.
Provides diverse activities that meets the interests of youth. Five core program areas of the club are character and leadership; education and career development; the arts; health and life skills; and sports, recreation and fitness.

Helping youth become responsible, caring citizens and acquire skills for participating in the democratic process is the main thrust of these programs. They also develop leadership skills and provide opportunities for planning, decision-making, contributing to Club and community.
Provides quality after-school care and programs under our five core areas of Education and Career Development, Character & Leadership Development, the Arts, Sports, Fitness and Recreation and Health and Life skills to children in Martinsville and Henry County age 5-18 yrs.old.

Provides youth development programs including homework help and tutoring, alcohol and drug abuse prevention, teen pregnancy prevention, conflict resolution, juvenile delinquency prevention, athletics, cultural enrichment, citizenship and leadership development, outdoor and environmental education, and parent training. Boys and Girls Club offers Hispanic programming. Eligible ages are 5 to 18, there are no other restrictions.

Boys and Girls Club offers Hispanic programming. Eligible ages are 5 to 18, there are no other restrictions. Immunization records and proof of physical exam required.
