The OAP (Older Adolescent Program) provides males and females a structured program in which to address a wide range of emotional and mental health issues.

Licensed 48 bed hospital based program that provides inpatient and outpatient services for the treatment of mental health and substance abuse issues. With each program, treatment is managed by a multi-disciplinary team consisting of: Psychiatrists, licensed therapists, nurses, certified counselors, occupational therapists, family counselors, referring professionals, and most important, the patient and their loved ones. Southwestern Virginia Mental Health Institute (SWVMHI) is a 179-bed state psychiatric institute operated by the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS). The Institute serves adult and geriatric individuals. SWVMHI is the primary state psychiatric hospital for individuals located in Health Planning District III, far southwestern Virginia. Southwestern Virginia Mental Health Institute is accredited by The Joint Commission. and is eligible to receive third-party payments, including Medicare, Medicaid, and Champus.

Provides 12 bed treatment units for comprehensive evaluation and treatment services for Virginia children ages 5 to 17. Mental Health Intake & Resource Center handles direct admissions to the adult (Mundy 3) and child/adolescent (Krise 6) psychiatric acute programs at Virginia Baptist Hospital. Mental health professionals from across Virginia may call for a direct admission if they have assessed the patient and believe s/he meets criteria (danger to self or others). The Center also provides information about mental health resources in our community and beyond. Psychiatric hospital. Medical care, psychiatric treatment, supportive services and counseling for mentally ill adults. Treatment services include diagnostic procedures, psychological testing and therapeutic modalities. Provides referrals to patients who are ready to leave the treatment center.

John Randolph Medical Center offers a variety of mental health services for adults, to include: crisis stabilization (inpatient services), mental health partial hospitalization program, and a chemical dependency intensive outpatient program.

Providing treatment for active duty service members, veterans, spouses and children in all branches of military service experiencing acute psychiatric crisis, addictions, sexual trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

This residential program targets issues of hyperactivity, attention deficit, authority, peer problems and aggression, in addition to addressing school difficulties, depression, out of control and self-destructive behaviors.

Provides quality care for the citizens of the commonwealth with serious mental or secondary substance abuse disorders within an integrated and collaborative service system which involves linkage with consumers, families and community health care providers. Accepts individuals with serious mental health, ages 18-64 who are residents of Northwest and Central Virginia. Offers short-term acute care services to assist children and adolescents, ages six through seventeen, who are experiencing emotional, psychological and behavioral problems.

Provides therapeutic residential treatment for males and females ages 11 to 17. The evidenced based trama informed model is the the Sanctuary Model. Specific treatment programs are offered to treat: substance abuse, sexual acting out, assessment and diagnisis and sexual expoliation.
