An exhibition of historical artifacts for the education of students and adults. Exhibits professional art works from Southwest Virginia and the Montgomery County school system. Offers guided tours for groups.
Promotes the arts in the region by offering art exhibits, visual and performing art events, art camps, workshops and classes.
Classes for adults and children of all age and skill levels in drawing, painting, clay, photography, glass, jewelry, animation, fiber, sculpture, printmaking, and writing. Art After School program provides a safe, creative environment for children in elementary and middle schools. Summer ArtVenture enrolls children in week-long art classes from June through August. Studio S program offers classes tailored to seniors.
To enhance the students talents and expose them to music and drama diversity. This program teaches songs, drama with skits and plays.
Non-profit arts organization and facility offering instruction in all areas of the arts for all ages and levels of ability. Hosts monthly ESO Live! shows featuring local musicians and vocalists, performs an annual production of The Nutcracker in December and an original ballet production in May, holds an annual Craft Beer & Music Festival fundraiser, hosts a community Halloween Lantern Parade with the Boys & Girls Club, and has summer arts camps for pre-school and school age children.

The commissioner's mission is to increase citizen access to the arts by providing leadership, advocacy and support for art that enriches the cultural vitality of our community.
A visual art gallery that promotes and offers activities, educational programs and facilities which will increase the understanding and enjoyment of the fine arts. Strives to recognize, encourage and support original work by area artists, crafts people and musicians. Will conduct school tours with prior notice. Sponsors special performances for a fee.
The Charles H. Taylor Arts Center hosts a series of changing exhibitions throughout the year. Many of the area's leading arts organization partner with the Hampton Arts Commission in the presentation of annual exhibitions. Also offers a variety of art classes for children and adults.

Offers low or no cost music education, private music lessons for children and adults, music therapy, the Jazz Combo and Valley Voices, a children's choir. A variety of music classes called Musikgarten for children 4 months through 9 years old are offered at both Grace Lutheran Church and at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 300 W Frederick St in Staunton. The mission of the Valley Music Academy to provide quality music education to all children of our community, regardless of gender, race, creed or financial resources, while demonstrating that music is a powerful means of encouraging cooperation, celebrating diversity, building self esteem and cultivating a sense of nonviolence and social justice.

During our season (June 1 - May 31), the orchestra performs multiple concerts for the public as well as educational and outreach concerts at schools and various other locations in Lynchburg and the surrounding counties.
The Altavista Arts Council promotes and develops artistic and cultural programs for youth and adults in the community, and with providing coordinated methods of support for such programs monthly book club, melody makers for children in our child development program, movie nights, senior bus trips, performances and more.

Provides a "theater building bridges". Offers programs in performing arts and education, ages four through adult, regardless of experience. Programs include classes as well as full theatre productions. We work in two program areas: 1. Growing Stages: Theatre By and For Youth offers theater workshops and training for youths aged 4 through college age. 2. OnStage: Theatre Performance: A theater program for adults and families. Every year the Visual Arts Center of Richmond hosts six exhibitions showcasing the work of national, and regional and international artists.
A professional opera company presenting fully staged productions and a variety of programs for patrons of all ages.
