Provides an independent public agency providing impoundment, treatment, storage and transmission of potable water and transport and treatment of wastewater for the citizens of Charlottesville and Albemarle County. The Authority is a wholesale agency with two customers: the Charlottesville Water and Sewer Division and the Albemarle County Service Authority.
