DRRC is a center for independent living and assists individuals with disabilities in becoming independent in their communities. Services include advocacy, peer counseling, independent living skills, and information and referral to disability-related resources. Energy assistance through Energy Share program (must call for eligibility).

The Community Resource and Referral Center links Veterans and their families to diverse community partners aimed at ending homelessness and promoting community reintegration and independence. Information for participants and the general public regarding Center services and community resources for people with disabilities. When appropriate, referrals are made as a means of assisting the individual in accessing needed services. Also organizes and conducts workshops and seminars on disabilities, provides technical assistance, and helps coordinate financial resources for services to increase independence.
The Human Trafficking Program helps victims, survivors and service providers connect with local resources and referrals for trafficking victims. The program also offers community outreach and education about human trafficking.

The Arc of Northern Virginia's Information and Referral program provides disability information and referral to community services and resources for people with disabilities via telephone or internet. Also provides weekly emails regarding events and announcements and disability issues on the local and state level. The Arc also facilitates education workshops and publish a monthly/bi monthly newsletters.
Provides multiple resources and support for urgent and unmet individual, family, and community needs. Offers community based resources and services to those who fall through the cracks of eligibility. Services include Meals on Wheels, Senior Citizen program, emergency financial and food assistance, and referral services.
Center staff members identify resources, services, and service providers in public, private, and community organizations that are capable of assisting in achieving the goals set in the Peer Counseling process. Building on the concept that knowledge is power, information is provided about community and personal assets that can bring accomplishment to personal goals. Referrals to other service organizations are regularly a part of putting together the "total package" to meet individual independent living needs or the removal of barriers to achieving those goals.
The first step in MEOC's Care Coordination and Options Counseling services. Handles all referrals for assistance made to MEOC and provides information about and referrals to other service providers. Receives referrals for assistance from many sources including older persons themselves, family members, neighbors, ministers, hospitals, home health agencies and others. Determines the needs of individual older persons and then links the person in need with the appropriate service(s). Visits the person, gathers information and assists in linking the person and the family with the services needed. MEOC staff are familiar with all community services, not just MEOC services, and link individuals to all services needed and available within the community.
Deaf and Hard of Hearing Specialist can provide training to persons who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing and their families and training to businesses, nonprofits, and professionals that serve persons who have a hearing loss. Responds to request for information and referrals on niche topics related to hearing loss including, but not limited to, where to find sign language classes, support services, assistive technology, and more. Specialist promote public awareness about services via exhibits at local-regional events. Specialist assist clients with their telecommunication needs including applications, assessments, installation, training and troubleshooting specialized telecommunication equipment.

The Pregnancy Support Center provides free pregnancy testing, limited obstetric ultrasounds, options counseling, information, material assistance, telephone referrals, adoption referrals, information on pre-natal development, and post abortive services.

Provides comprehensive information and assistance about and referral to services for older adults and their caregivers locally, statewide and nationally. Also includes comprehensive assessment, care coordination and case management services. Medicare and health insurance benefits assistance also included.
The Beard Center provides community education on healthy aging and problems of aging. Several workshops and an annual summer conference are held each year for community members, professionals and students. Additionally the center directs both an undergraduate and graduate certificate programs for becoming a specialist in gerontology.

Offers a comprehensive system of services and refers and/or connects these services to persons 60 years and older, their caregivers, and others advocating on their behalf.
CVACL's Information and Referral program provides community members with general information about available resources. Additional support (including education, methods of service access, assessments, and advocacy) is provided to older adults, persons with disabilities, and caregivers in order to promote the holistic well-being of individuals served and encourage their ongoing independence.
The Arc offers training workshops that provide information and resources to assist families of children with disabilities on topics such as waivers, vision therapy, advocacy, and much more. These are open to both parents and professionals from any locale. A special education attorney volunteers monthly to offer free 45-minute consultations (2 per month) on special education topics. The Family Support Coordinator also will provide information and referral via phone or email.

Offering pregnancy and parenting resources and support to women, men, and families in our community. Services include free and confidential pregnancy tests, pregnancy options counseling, pregnancy and parenting education, material services including maternity, infant and children's clothing, and community referrals. Diapers and formula are available on an emergency basis only. Participants in the educational classes are eligible to receive baby items such as cribs, car seats, strollers, etc. Services are also avaiable to grandparents and foster parents.
