Virginia Veteran and Family Support (VVFS) (formerly known as the Virginia Wounded Warrior Program) VVFS monitors and coordinates the delivery of behavioral health, rehabilitative, and supportive services for Virginia Veterans and their families. Services Offered - Comprehensive assessment of individual and family needs - Direct linkage to needed services including medical, behavioral healthcare, veterans benefits, housing, and employment assistance - Peer and family support groups - Couples workshops and family retreats - Assistance to homeless or incarcerated veterans
Offers employment services to active duty, retired military, reservist and national guard personnel, their family members, and Department of Defense(DOD)Civilian employees. Assists in identifying and developing marketable skills. Offers employment counseling, information and referral, job fair preparation, information about federal jobs, a job bank, a resource library and training workshops. Offers access to computers for resume production, typing tutorials, and on-line job searches.

The Virginia Army National Guard Family Assistance Center provides 6 essential services to service members and their families regardless of branch of service or activation status: TRICARE assistance, ID Cards/DEERS assistance, financial assistance and referral, legal assistance and referral, community outreach and referral, and crisis intervention and referral.
Mobilization & Deployment Readiness Program (MDRP)provides deployment assistance to Servicemembers, DoD Civilians, and Family Members throughout the Army Force Generation (ARFORGEN) cycle to promote positive adjustment to deployment, Family separation, and Family reunion & reintegration through instruction, one-on-one & unit briefings, support, and resources.
Provides relocation services to reduce or eliminate problems and/or stress associated with frequent moves within the military. Services include Lending Closet items; Smooth Move classes, Permanent Change of Station (PCS) classes; multicultural services (ie. English as a Second Language; cultural adaptation; Citizen and Immigration classes and support groups for foreign born spouses). Also provides the Waiting Families for service members who are living separately from their military sponsor due to mission requirements. Support groups (Spouse Meet & Greet/Hearts Apart) are also provided.
Promotes physical, mental, spiritual and social growth through programs and services geared to the active duty military and their families.

The Soldier and Family Readiness Program is one comprehensive program that provided direct support to Army leadership and assists National Guard service members and their families navigate the unique challenges of their military and civilian live. The Soldier and Family Readiness Specialists provide assistance and non-medical case management to service members and families on a variety of subjects. Services include basic financial education, Tricare claims assistance, ID card questions, resource and referral to community services, state agencies, employment assistance and guidance through the Exceptional Family Member Program. Working closely with the commander's Family Readiness Program to assist Army leadership and volunteers we provide training support and briefings to command leadership, family readiness groups, Soldiers and families, and community partners.

Offers emergency services to military personnel and their families. This is a Statewide 24/7 call center which will ensure all calls are answered by a live person and will be forwarded to the proper channels.
Focuses on managing personal finances and developing a spending plan. Provides financial counseling to active duty, retired military, reservist and national guard personnel, their Family members, and Department of Army (DOA) Civilians. Program helps people learn to live within their incomes. Services includes guidance and information on budgets, credit repair, debt liquidation, and food assistance.

A community based, Housing First Case Management program which will provide a range of supportive service to veterans and their families transitioning from homelessness to permanent housing. We work to prevent at-risk families from becoming homeless and house homeless veteran families. Provide energy assistance through the EnergyShare program.

Provides emergency communications between service members and their families, information and referral when a problem is beyond the scope of the Red Cross, and, in coordination with the military and societies, financial assistance in emergency situations, such as the need for emergency travel or when a pay problem is encountered. In addition to Service to military families, we also provide international tracing and social services. This includes seeking family members separated by war or natural disaster, or families separated during the Holocaust, and the sending of Red Cross letters between family members when normal communications have been disrupted.
MCCS Quantico's CDCs are accredited through the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). All classrooms accommodate children according to their developmental age and any special needs. Two meals and one snack are provided daily.

FAMILY PROGRAM: Families who need a fresh start can live in the safe and peaceful environment of the VFW National Home for Children campus community for 1-4 years and benefit from numerous community supports, including professional case management services, on-site licensed child care, life skills training, tutoring and other educational services, as well as recreational and community service opportunities.
