We help individuals make healthy choices concerning their unexpected or challenging pregnancy. . Services include confidential peer counseling, no cost pregnancy testing, no cost limited purpose pregnancy confirmation ultrasound, pregnancy options counseling, pregnancy related educational resources, mentoring and referrals to other agencies. Also provides baby clothing, supplemental baby formula, baby food, diapers, and maternity clothing, as available. New items, cribs and pack n plays can be earned by on site lessons.

Provide food pantry for the peninsula community at two locations. 1233 Shields Road - Food distribution is Mon. Tues., Wed. Fri. and Sat. at 1:00pm 525 Industrial Park Drive - USDA Food Distribution - 3rd Thursday of each month 1PM-3PM. Emergency Pantry on Wednesdays and Thursdays (Food and Clothing) by appoinment ONLY. Financial assistance provided if available after personal interview - by appointment ONLY!
Provides Meals for Residents, an Open Meal for the Public and a Food Pantry. Accepts food donations. The Food Pantry is located at the Haven of Rest and provides several days worth of meals for families who are under the Federal Poverty Guidelines. Breads, canned foods, frozen foods, fresh fruits and/or vegetables, chips and snacks are usually included. Special diet needs may not be available, but if stated at the time of registering for food assistance, the staff will often attempt to help.

The Salvation Army offers programs to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, and provide counseling and support to those most in need of help. This includes assistance with groceries.
Loaves & Fishes provides groceries at no cost up to two times each month to under-resourced individuals and families from Charlottesville and all surrounding counties.

The St. Teresa Food Pantry clients and their families who find themselves in need of food assistance. The food pantry is offered directly to Ocean View residents living in the 23503, 23505 and 23518 zip codes.
Households may receive food monthly from the food pantry. Staff will arrange for outside pick up of food, diapers and supplies or provide restricted Food Lion cards by mail.
St. Anne's Episcopal Church assist between 50 to 90 families depending on the time of the year. Food is both purchased and donated, being distributed on the fourth Saturday of the month unless there is a holiday and then it is distributed on the third Saturday.
