VisioCheck, a comprehensive, full-service program, was specifically designed to help schools meet their mandated screening requirements (public schools and Head Starts) and school-readiness responsibilities (preschool and private school programs) while ensuring the best possible outcomes.

Low Vision Services help Virginians with vision loss make the most of their remaining sight through a full range of community-based support. A team of trained professionals works together to provide services such as vision assessments, counseling, and training on how to use tools and techniques to improve daily life. This includes both optical aids, like magnifiers, and non-optical aids, such as lighting or contrast tools. The team looks at all areas of a person’s life to help them live more independently and confidently.
