Hearing Impairment - Radford, Radford University

Provides "hands-on" clinical training for graduate students majoring in the field of Communication Sciences and Disorders. Offers prevention, assessment, and treatment of speech, language, swallowing, and hearing disorders for individuals from infancy through later adulthood. Services are provided by graduate interns and supervised by state licensed and American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) certified speech-language pathologists. Provids services to clients from the New River and Roanoke Valleys and across Virginia. Part of the RiteCare is the Childhood Language Program. The support received through the Scottish Rite allows the program to provide specialized summer programs to preschool and school age children with language disorders.
