Sexual Violence Survivors Group explores alternatives to abusive situations, interaction with other members to encourage personal growth through peer interaction, sexual violence information and exploration/awareness of personal options. Facilitate the expression of emotions and thoughts created by a sexual violence situation in a safe and structured environment.

Structured, therapeutic support group for those who are in or who have been in an abusive relationship. Domestic and Interpersonal Violence Support Group Tuesdays: 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm This group is free and open to individuals who have experienced domestic and interpersonal violence. The group is designed to provide support and facilitate the process of healing through member-driven discussion. Members are encouraged to share their experiences with one another, which helps them to know that they are not alone in what they are experiencing or feeling. Survivors of Sexual Assault Support Group Thursdays 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. This is a support group for sexual assault survivors who want to share their experiences and feelings with others who have also been through such trauma. Members are encouraged to share their experiences with one another while learning skills to elevate self-esteem, change negative patterns, increase mindfulness, and learn new coping strategies for trauma-related symptoms. This group is free to the public and new members can join at any time.

Offers seasonal support groups for women, men, teens, families, partners and children whose lives have been affected by sexual violence. Groups begin seasonally, depending on interest.

LAWS Youth & Children's Services provides comprehensive services to children & youth whose lives have been affected by domestic violence & sexual abuse.

James House offers therapeutic services for children affected by domestic violence, sexual violence, or abuse/neglect.

The CHANGE program is a state certified Domestic Violence Intervention Program designed to aid in the reduction and elimination of domestic violence in Northern Virginia. OAR will attempt to achieve this goal by increasing batterers accountability, general understanding of the impact of their behavior, and self-regulation skills.

The mission of the Sexual Assault Resource Agency (SARA) is to eliminate sexual violence and its impact by providing education, advocacy and support to men, women and children. Our vision is a community free from sexual violence. SARA provides services to anyone impacted by sexual violence. These services include support, education, advocacy, and counseling. Support groups are provided as needed. SARA also provides prevention education to area schools and other organizations that work with youth. Offers two different anger management programs, one for youth and one for adults. The program aims to inhibit behavior by improving social skills and impulse control and teaching empathy and compassion. Parental involvement is necessary for the youth program.
