Needs assessment, case management, and referral to a network of providers to help youth exhibiting negative behaviors. TOP (Teamwork ~ Options ~ Pathways to Success) is an interest and needs based prevention program designed to connect youth and their families with services that can refocus youth in the right direction by building on their strengths and providing them with a positive support system.

Carilion Clinic Adolescent and Student Health Service's mission is to help young adults stay healthy now and in the future. We serve youth ages 10-26 and offer a wide range of healthcare services including wellness visits, school, sports, and camp physicals, acute illness and minor injury treatment, immunizations, diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases, contraception and family planning, mental health counseling, and health educaton services.

Critical Incident Stress Management teams work with individuals or groups of emergency medical services, fire, law enforcement and dispatch personnel who may suffer from stress after being involved in a critical incident. Play Therapy and Theraplay (ages 2 or older) are the preferred treatments for young children. The primary delivery method is child-centered. When appropriate, filial therapy techniques are utilized to teach parents/guardians how to play therapeutically with their children. Also available through telehealth portal if preferred.
